Mad about Madeleine?

In February 2008, Costa Brava Resident magazine featured an article on the Hollywood connection with the Costa Brava. The Book Cupboard, Lloret de Mar, acquired the book collection of Madeleine Carroll, the British actress who features in the the article, late in 2007. Many of the books in this collection were signed either by the actress herself or were presented to her by the author. Inscriptions from Michael Bentine and Robert Ruark are among the gems for sale.
